Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis in Buffalo
What Is Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis?
Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis (CRMA) is an analysis that looks at the instability of the ligamentous structures in the spine following a traumatic injury, like a whiplash or a fall. This test is used to identify biomechanical issues within the spine.
In a CRMA, special software is used to analyze musculoskeletal structures, and the data is then compared to the AMA Guidelines (5th Edition) to determine if instability is present, and to what extent. If ligaments are confirmed as injured through this analysis, there is “within a reasonable degree of medical certainty” that the patient will have future biomechanical issues in the damaged regions.
This information helps the Buffalo Chiropractic + Physical Therapy, PLLC team determine the most appropriate treatment for enhanced healing. Our team at Buffalo Chiropractic + Physical Therapy, PLLC is more than happy to accommodate patients utilizing CRMA technology, especially patients who have experienced whiplash or a fall!
