Bio
Dr. Timothy Lukasik is a Buffalo born and raised Chiropractor. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster, received his undergraduate degree from Villa Maria College, and went on to graduate from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York in 2002. He has been practicing in the area since 2003, and over the years has been serving the community all over WNY. He has had a small private practice in the Lancaster/Elma area for his entire career, but has also worked in East Amherst, Williamsville, Depew, and Buffalo. He is very grateful to join Buffalo Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, PLLC, and is extremely excited to be back practicing in Buffalo.
Besides being a board certified Chiropractor, Dr. Tim is also certified in Active Isolated Stretching, which is a technique that focuses on relieving tension and soreness from muscles by properly individualizing the injured muscle and stretching it to facilitate healing and mobility. He incorporates this technique into not only his treatments on a daily basis, but also into his recreational time. Growing up, he has participated in as many sports as he could, and continues to do so thanks to proper stretching and frequent Chiropractic care.
His passion for sports is one of the main reasons he got into Chiropractic. Aside from working in practices, Dr. Tim has also used his skills to travel with a professional indoor roller hockey team, where he would help the players warm up before every game with his stretching technique. He has enjoyed working with many athletes over the years, including some current and former NFL players, but he has also spent a large portion of his career servicing those involved in motor vehicle accidents and patients with work related injuries.
When Dr. Tim is not at work, he tries to spend as much time as possible with his wife and two young girls enjoying everything the great city of Buffalo has to offer. Go Bills/ Go Sabres!
